Description

Grand Trip goes France. One of our suppliers that I have worked with for more than 10 years has bought a chateau in France. It is now ready for bookings.

The chateau is a beautiful and well-preserved 18th-century castle in the charming French countryside. This carefully renovated gem with 12 beds is perfect for family or conference teams who want to enjoy the castle charm in a quiet environment. It is close to some of the best Normandy has to offer, the picturesque town of Bayeux, D-day beaches, local sea food restaurants and antique markets.

THE GARDEN LEVEL: The chateau kitchen with the open fireplace and stairs leading up to the dining room. You also have access to the garden.

THE GROUND FLOOR: A large 40 m2 living room fitted out to receive guests in a warm atmosphere. It has a beautiful Louis XV marble fireplace, herringbone parquet floor in very good condition and is lit by four large windows. Next to the living room you will find the office and a library A tiled corridor leads to the main staircase, which conceals a small toilet.
A small long living room leads to the dining room. The dining room, with high ceiling, gives the room a very classic look. The stone fireplace creates a warm atmosphere lit by the large windows.

FIRST FLOOR: A large wooden staircase with wrought iron banister takes you to the newly renovated stone floor. Here you will find four bedrooms and two bathrooms to share. One of the bathrooms has an elegant bathtub built into the woodwork allowing a view of the garden through the window next to it. .

SECOND FLOOR: Completely refurbished floor with two bedrooms ensuite and a large living room area. One of the bathrooms has a bathtub where you can relax and enjoy the landscape while having a bath.

A real gem! The chateau is absolutely gorgeous, as soon as you enter the foyer of the chateau you see how much love, hard work and beautiful taste that has been put in. The living room is very cozy and elegant, all the bedrooms are made with beautiful fabric and soft colours, the stone floors are sumptuous, the grand staircase is magnificent and the kitchen is just sublime. We had most of our meals in the kitchen, we loved that room, we would always lid a fire, the fireplace made that room very special and intimate. Beside the fine bedlinen, the nice furniture and the lovely and agreeable bathrooms, even the china was delicate and very pretty. The owner thought about every little detail. After following the owner suggestion, we enjoyed having Chef Lorena preparing us delicious breakfast and dinners, it was a real plus. We hope to come back very soon and this time maybe in the spring time in order to appreciate the blooming season and the superb property grounds. A memorable stay.

This was an absolutely perfect location to spend a family new year together. It's a beautiful, very chicly decorated chateau on a peaceful, private site. The owner was responsive and offered detailed instructions on both the house and recommendations on things to do in the area. The property was even better than described. We wouldn't hesitate to go back if the chance comes up.

The most beautiful house we have ever stayed in. The decor, the lighting, the attention to detail... It's all superb. It has been an incredibly nice family holiday in a perfect setting. Many, many thanks to the owner for creating and sharing this splendid place.

We loved our French country experience at the chateau. The outdoor seating area is perfect for sharing a bottle of champagne and tasting local cheeses. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day visiting the American Normandy Memorial, Mont Saint-Michel, Bayeux and the Rouen Cathedral. We enjoyed visiting the local boulangerie for fresh croissants every morning. The owner is a great one and responds very quickly. We look forward to staying here again the next time we visit Normandy.
