Enjoy this private island in lake Mälaren, close to the castle Gripsholm and town Mariefred. Very exclusive interior. Only two minutes by boat from town Mariefred. In the picturesques town Mariefred you have shops, restaurants, coffehouse, museums, galleries and more. View of the castle Gripsholm from the livingroom (aprox 700 meters to the castle). Four houses in totalt. Main house where you have kitchen, dining room, three bedrooms. (two rooms with twinbed and one room with separet beds) and a wc/shower. Small house with only one room included two beds. Sauna house where you have the sauna, a shower and a wc. The round house consist of a conference/dining room and upstairs a bedroom. (The round house is under renovation and will not be included in the rent )
Perfect for the family, or the small group that looks for a unique place. You will have access to a small motor boat (4 adults). We can arrange rental of an Anytec 750 SPD (motorboat 225 hp) if the driver is qualified.

Hello Rickard, Yes, we had a lovely time in Sweden! It was one of the best holidays we've had. Both of the houses were fantastic in different ways. As far as the island house goes, it was beautiful and very unique. We loved the sauna and the beautiful view. the owner was very nice and took the time to show us around. We had a great time at the island; it surpassed our expectations. We loved the well-equipped house, the full fridge, the sauna, spectacular views from every point of the island, the castle and the village, and were lucky with the weather. The children have been fishing, canoeing and we made walks with GPS (geocaching), but overall, we spent most time on the island// Marc with family

We were lucky with the beautiful weather.The house is very comfortable, so are sauna and kitchen. Going to Mariefred, parking and using the dock there were all very easy. The castle Gripsholm is an amazing visit and we liked watching is by night from the island. Kitchen, sauna and livingrooms was great. Lyndon with family.

We stayed at this property in July 2010. Family of 2 adults and 2 kids 7 and 3. We enjoyed our stay very much. We specially apreciated to swim a lot and the standard of the houses is high.
