When is the booking confirmed?
When you have made an enquiry Grand Trip Sweden will send you an email with a reservation number and payment details. The booking is confirmed as soon as the first payment is made.
Why doesn’t Grand Trip Sweden book flights?
It will be cheaper and better if the customer books their own air tickets. Grand Trip Sweden can offer ground transportation at the destination or a rental car.
When and how do I pay?
Once you have accepted our quote, you will usually pay 20% deposit fee within 3-5 days.
Are there any fees involved in making a booking?
We do not apply any booking fees or credit card fees. But if you make a booking and want to make changes other than adding more products (eg. changing the date) an administrative fee of SEK 200 will be added for each change. Adding more activities can be made without any cost. For cancellation conditions, see below.
Cancellation
Grand Trip Sweden will make every effort to minimize cancellation costs for the customer. However, late cancellation can result in compensation claims from hotels and other service partners. All cancellations must be in writing, and sent to Grand Trip Sweden by letter, or e-mail. In conformity with business practices within the Swedish travel industry, Grand Trip Sweden is obliged to charge cancellation fees to customers of full price as follows:
What if I get ill and can't travel?
For cancellations occurring 30 days or less before the trip’s start date, the traveller has only the right to cancel a trip with a medical certificate. The certificate must show that the illness is acute and of such a nature that the traveller cannot reasonably travel as well as that the illness was not known about at the time of booking.

What are the Cancellation Conditions (individual customer)
• Cancellations made 50 days or more before arrival will be charged a total of 20 % of the bookings total amount.
• Cancellations between 50 and 8 days before arrival will be charged a total of 50 % of the bookings total amount.
• Cancellations less than 8 days of arrival will be charged at 100% of the bookings total amount.
Cancellation Conditions for Groups (10 people or more)
• Cancellations made 50 days or more before arrival will be charged a total of 30 % of the bookings total amount.
• Cancellations between 30 to 14 days before arrival will be charged at 75 % of the bookings total amount.
• Cancellations less than 14 days of arrival will be charged at 100 % of the bookings total amount.
How long will a booking be held?
Preliminary bookings can be held free of charge for 3 days. After 3 days the booking should be confirmed by payment of either an application fee or the total amount depending on when the trip is booked. If Grand Trip Sweden has not received the application fee or total amount within 3 days the booking will be automatically cancelled.
